Polygon has quickly become the largest layer 2 scaling solution for the Ethereum ecosystem securing partnerships with some of the largest companies like Instagram, Stripe, and Adidas. Through its Proof of Stake sidechain, Polygon is able to achieve scale and thus lower transaction costs, saving on average $140M gas per day, while preserving its security by leveraging Ethereum. This course will cover much more than how to deploy a smart contract on Polygon. Instead of rehashing Ethereum content for Polygon, we will be diving into Polygon Bridges, Polygon ID, and the Polygon zkEVM. With this course you will have the tools to build unique applications on top of the Polygon ecosystem, whether that’s bridging an existing NFT collection onto Polygon, building a new identity solution to authenticate under zero knowledge, or deploying your next set of contracts onto the zkEVM. If you’re ready to dive into the world of scaling Ethereum and take your blockchain engineering skills to the next level, join us in learning the fundamentals of the Polygon ecosystem.
Note: You must be 18 years old in order to use Metacrafters. In order to complete the course you will need to provide ID. Valid IDs will typically be issued by a government, and can include passports, drivers licenses, and other government IDs with photos. This enables us to detect cheating and fraud, assure employers that job applicants our talent collective are real unique people who completed our courses and assessments, and be compliant when we pay out crypto rewards.
